SCE’s System Engineers perform business case analysis
to identify the business need, substantiate IT acquisitions
and assess the return on IT investment. To this end, SCE’s
engineers support end-user working sessions to identify
the business need. Staff members also perform alternative
analysis and feasibility analysis to substantiate IT initiatives.
In addition, staff members perform cost-benefit analysis
to assess the return on IT investment. Equally important
has been the involvement by staff in strategic planning
to ensure that solutions are implemented in a timely manner.
